Emily discovered her interest for commercial real estate early on, while interning in Germany at the Thüringen Land Development Corporation. After returning to the states, she resumed working for JP Morgan Chase while finishing her degree at Georgia State University. Upon graduating she was immediately hired on at Ackerman & Co., where she began a diverse career in commercial real estate; starting in Research and Finance, then Property Administration, and finally Project Management for Business Development.

As Director of Operations, Emily is the engine that keeps the ship moving at DTSpade. She handles the strategic planning and oversight of recruiting, training, and business development endeavors. She also works closely with Clients and Brokers to ensure all transactions are making their way happily through the pipeline. DTSpade’s Geographic Information System platform (GIS) is singlehandedly managed by her. Every map we create for analytical or site selection purposes is a result of her geospatial wizardry. She takes great pride in being able to deliver geographical evidence to support our clients in their strategic real estate decisions.
